Real Estate Paralegal

Real Estate Paralegal – Fairfield County, CT

We are working with a well-established Connecticut law firm seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join its Fairfield County office. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned paralegal who can take ownership of transactions, work directly with attorneys and clients, and play an integral role in a sophisticated and active real estate practice handling both commercial and residential matters.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of substantive real estate experience and be comfortable managing transactions from initial due diligence through closing and post-closing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of substantive commercial and/or residential real estate paralegal experience
• Experience supporting commercial and residential acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and closings
• Strong experience with title and survey review, due diligence, and closing preparation
• Ability to prepare and coordinate closing documents, manage closing checklists, and oversee closing and post-closing matters
• Experience coordinating with lenders, title companies, brokers, clients, and other transaction parties
• Ability to independently manage multiple transactions and deadlines
• Comfortable communicating directly with attorneys and clients
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, sophisticated real estate practice
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation

Salary range: $80,000–$90,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
