The Opportunity

An award-winning, full-service U.S. law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Partner to join its practice in Los Angeles, California.

The firm is looking for a Partner with a strong technical background, excellent academic credentials and experience handling sophisticated real estate matters. Existing client relationships are welcome, but a portable book of business is NOT required.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys and contribute to the continued development of the firm's real estate practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle sophisticated real estate matters and provide high-quality legal advice to clients.
• Manage complex matters independently from inception through completion.
• Advise clients on a range of real estate transactions and related legal issues.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex legal documentation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to deliver practical, commercially focused advice.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support the ongoing delivery of legal services.
• Contribute to the continued development of the firm's real estate practice.

Candidate Profile

• No portable book of business required.
• Partner-level Real Estate attorney with a strong technical background.
• Demonstrated experience handling sophisticated real estate matters.
• Strong academic and professional credentials.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage complex matters independently and work collaboratively within an established team.
• Willingness to work a minimum of four days per week in the office .
• Ability to meet an annual billable-hour requirement of 1,700 hours .
