Rebar Detailing Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

-Demonstrate strong technical expertise in civil and structural works.

· Develop detailed foundation designs, prepare related calculations, drawings and technical specification (for site preparation, earthworks, piling, and concrete works).

· Interpret and apply structural design codes and project standards in rebar detailing and layout preparation for civil and structural engineering.

· Prepare reinforcement (rebar) shop drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and detailed layouts from structural design drawings and specifications.

· Supervise and assist in the preparation of design drawings and documentation.

· Manage updates, changes, and revisions to design criteria, technical specifications, and engineering calculations.

· Review design plans and calculations submitted by contractors for ongoing construction projects.

· Future mentor and trainer for junior engineers and designers, ensuring knowledge transfer and technical growth.

Qualification;

-Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

· 3–5 years of relevant experience in civil and structural design, preferably involving foundations or infrastructure projects.

· Proven experience in concrete and/or structural steel design.
