DRP Transmissions Inc is looking for a skilled Rebuilder to join our team in Massapequa, NY! This is a hands-on opportunity to do what you do best — tearing down, diagnosing, and rebuilding transmissions with precision and expertise. Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild automatic and manual transmissions
• Diagnose internal transmission failures and identify worn or damaged components
• Replace clutch packs, seals, gaskets, bearings, and other internal parts
• Perform precise measurements and clearance checks during reassembly
• Ensure all rebuilt units meet quality and performance standards before delivery
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Document rebuild processes and parts used for each unit

Requirements:

• Proven experience rebuilding automatic and/or manual transmissions
• Strong knowledge of transmission components, hydraulics, and valve bodies
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
• Own tools preferred
