We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Recreation Budtender to join our vibrant team! Must Have a Valid IIC card from the State to work in Cannabis.

Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and guiding them through product options with enthusiasm
• Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs, offering detailed product demos when appropriate
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately
• Upsell products by highlighting features, benefits, and complementary items to maximize customer satisfaction and store sales
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked, organized, and properly labeled in accordance with company standards
• Conduct inventory checks, stock replenishment, and assist with stocking shelves to ensure product availability at all times
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or taking orders remotely, maintaining professionalism at all times
• Supervise junior staff or trainees as needed, providing guidance on customer service techniques and store procedures

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience in a fast-paced environment such as grocery stores or specialty retail is highly desirable
• Must Have a Valid IIC card from the State to work in Cannabis.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, retail math, and cashiering procedures
• Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about product demos and merchandising techniques
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities in a retail setting
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management
• Familiarity with upselling strategies to enhance sales opportunities
• Previous experience in grocery store or similar retail environments is advantageous

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
