What they need

About us

Pacific Fresh is a citrus packing facility located in the heart of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area. We source a large variety of locally grown citrus, including fruit from our own farms across the Riverina region of NSW.

Our purpose is to ensure our products are processed, packed and dispatched safely and on time. As a Pacific Fresh employee, you will be a vital part of that process. We focus on customer satisfaction by supplying premium-quality fruit to customers around the world.

About the role

We are looking for a capable and motivated Receivals Team Leader to support the efficient operation of our receivals area in Leeton.

Reporting to the Processing Supervisor, you will be their right-hand person across receivals operations. You will lead the team, coordinate daily tasks, support safe loading and unloading activities, maintain quality and traceability requirements, and help keep the operation moving efficiently.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the receivals team, allocate tasks and monitor progress to maintain a safe and efficient workflow.
  • Support and train team members in receivals procedures, food safety, equipment operation and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate the safe loading and unloading of fruit bins, juice trucks and chemical deliveries.
  • Ensure post-harvest activities meet HACCP, food safety, quality and hygiene requirements.
  • Monitor machinery operation and cleanliness, complete minor repairs and coordinate maintenance support when required.
  • Manage the transport booking system and keep delivery time-slot availability up to date.
  • Maintain accurate data and traceability records using computer systems and software.
  • Monitor dip tank and chemical application processes to protect fruit quality and safety.
  • Maintain clear communication with employees, supervisors, growers, transport contractors and other departments.
  • Respond quickly to production issues and support smooth operations and timely customer shipments.

What you'll bring

  • A current NSW Forklift Licence and at least two years of experience in a warehousing environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  • A practical, hands-on approach to leadership, problem-solving and team coordination.
  • A First Aid Certificate and Chemical Handling Certificate, or willingness to obtain them.
  • Previous citrus industry or packing facility experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • A commitment to Pacific Fresh procedures, safety requirements, values and culture.

What to expect

This is an active role in a seasonal and fast-paced environment where priorities may change throughout the shift. Flexibility is required to work day or afternoon shifts, with extended hours during peak season.
