Receiver - Day Shift

Location: Sumner, WA (98390)

FT/PT Status: Full Time

Shift: Day Shift

Start Time: 10:00 AM

Schedule: 7 day availability required.

Hourly Rate: $21.00 - 24.00 per hour (DOE – Depending on Experience)

Responsibilities

• Properly inspect inbound trucks for proper cleanliness and product temperatures once they are assigned a door.
• Records and checks quantity and quality of goods received for conformity to purchase orders and specifications.
• Ensures that shipper BOLs and our receiving paperwork match.
• Sort and segregate all items on each load.
• Properly count and tags each pallet with pallet license plate for correct item being received.
• Properly enter correct pack/expire dates on products received.
• Enter proper weights on random weight items.
• Inputs stock items into computer/scan gun and stores produce in the assigned location in or around warehouse.
• Ensures all picks (slot locations) are full and ready for each warehouse shift.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience And Skill Requirements

• 6 months or more experience with electric sit-down forklift and pallet jack.
• Ability to pick up, turn and lift 30-40 lbs repeatedly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays is required.
• Effective listening skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Effectively work as a team member and independently as needed.
• Positive, can-do attitude team player with a strong work ethic.
• Work in a refrigerated environment.
