Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Retail Distribution Center Receiving to work on a contract basis. Responsibilities include processing inbound shipments, verifying product quantities and conditions, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming merchandise from trucks or containers.

• Compare shipment documentation against received items to ensure accuracy.

• Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory.

• Unload and stage products in designated areas for further distribution.

• Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to management immediately.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

• Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks in a warehouse environment.

• Familiarity with barcode scanners and inventory tracking systems.

• Basic math skills for counting and verifying quantities.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
