Receiving Associate

TCH Gear is hiring a Receiving Associate!

We’re looking for a dependable, organized, and hardworking person to join our team. This position plays an important role in keeping merchandise moving efficiently from delivery to the sales floor and making sure inventory is received accurately.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments
• Check shipments for accuracy and inspect merchandise for damage
• Verify products against packing slips and invoices
• Enter and receive inventory into our system
• Price, tag, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor
• Organize and maintain the receiving and stock areas
• Stock merchandise and help keep products organized throughout the store
• Assist with inventory counts and identifying inventory discrepancies
• Process transfers, returns, and other receiving paperwork as needed
• Communicate shipment or inventory issues with management
• Break down boxes and keep the receiving area clean and safe
• Assist other departments and customers when needed

What We’re Looking For

• Dependable and punctual
• Strong attention to detail
• Organized and able to stay on task
• Comfortable working independently as well as with a team
• Able to lift and move boxes and merchandise throughout the workday
• Basic computer skills
• Retail, warehouse, inventory, or receiving experience is helpful, but we’re willing to train the right person
• An interest in hunting, fishing, firearms, archery, or the outdoors is a plus

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the details, and wants to be part of a hardworking team.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
