Receiving Associate

Duties

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers while adhering to safety regulations including OSHA standards
• Organize products, and prepare items for order pick up, packing, shipping, sales floor placement or storage
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts.
• Follow proper packaging procedures for outgoing shipments to ensure products are protected during transit
• Adhere to safety protocols by using personal protective equipment (PPE), practicing manual handling techniques, and reporting hazards promptly
• Assist with loading and unloading furniture safely and efficiently.
• Ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and materials handling
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for heavy lifting
• Previous experience with warehouse supervision or team leadership is a plus but not required
