POSITION SUMMARY

The Box Truck Driver / Receiving Associate operates a company box truck to deliver orders to customers, pick up materials, and transfer products between designated locations. This position also supports receiving, loading and unloading, processing returns, and organizing inventory.

This is a hands-on role within our Receiving team. When not driving, you will assist with daily warehouse operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate a company box truck for customer deliveries, pickups, and transfers between company facilities and designated locations.
• Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers.
• Verify delivery quantities, obtain delivery confirmations, and report delays or discrepancies.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Load, unload, and secure products and materials to prevent damage during transportation.
• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and documentation, and report shortages or damaged items.
• Process returns by counting, inspecting, documenting, and sorting products according to company procedures.
• Separate damaged or questionable products for review before returning them to available inventory.
• Move and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks after completing required training and authorization.
• Maintain accurate delivery, receiving, and return records.
• Keep company vehicles, receiving areas, and warehouse spaces clean and organized.
• Follow company safety, food safety, and material-handling procedures.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the assigned vehicle and a driving record that meets company requirements.
• Must successfully complete required driver screening and any applicable driving test or medical examination before operating a company vehicle.
• Previous box truck or delivery driving experience preferred.
• Previous receiving, warehouse, or returns-processing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred; willingness to complete company-required training.
• Ability to follow instructions, review shipping documents, and maintain accurate records.
• Strong attention to detail, reliable attendance, and a commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position involves driving, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling products during loading, unloading, receiving, and returns processing. Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

WORK SCHEDULE

• 10-hour shifts
• 4 days per week
• Day shift

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work takes place in warehouse and receiving areas, loading docks, customer delivery locations, and company vehicles. This position includes both driving and physical warehouse work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
