Receiving Associate

Receiving Responsibilities:

• Unload and receive incoming freight, boxes, and materials from delivery trucks.
• Verify contents by comparing packing slips and invoices to original purchase orders.
• Inspect items for defects, missing parts, or shipping damage.
• Update inventory records using computer databases or radio-frequency (RF) scanners.
• Organize and store goods in designated warehouse or stockroom locations.

Receiving Qualifications/Skills:

• Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock
• Receiving, stocking, and stacking
• Pulling, packing, and loading
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Technical skills: Basic math, computer literacy, and experience operating a forklift or pallet jack.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 2 years logistics experience preferred
• Forklift Certification a plus

Job Types: Temporary, Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
