Receiving Associate

Summary

Receives, stores, and distributes products by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Unload boxes from inbound trucks using a sit-down forklift and/or by hand; Separate and arrange product boxes on pallets according to item and part number; Scan products in using a scanner gun; Ensure that incoming product matches the packing list by verifying that the product type and quantity shown on the scanner matches the packing list product type and quantity.
• Scan products using a scanner gun to determine the appropriate warehouse and bin for each product; Use a stand-up forklift to transport full pallets of product to the appropriate location in the warehouse; Place full pallets in the appropriate bin in the warehouse; If a partial pallet, write on each pallet where it goes in the warehouse and how many of the product is on each pallet before using a picker forklift to transport the product and place the product in the appropriate location in the warehouse.
• Pull empty pallets throughout the day and return to the Receiving area.
• Weekly clear bins that contain product but that the SAP system denotes as empty bins by cycle counting the product and performing the above steps to restock the product.
• Periodically assist with Cycle Counting by referring to the layout in SAP that denotes what is to be cycle counted, counting the product in each bin, and then notifying the Receiving and Inventory Supervisor once all cycle counting is complete.
• Assist with any rack and/or bin changes as needed.
• Assist Shipping and Production as needed.
• Perform area maintenance duties as needed.
• Perform appropriate forklift maintenance and re-charge the forklifts daily at the end of each shift.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
