Reception Administrator

About the role

As a Reception Administrator, you will be an important first point of contact for our patients and will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day to day running of our reception and administrative functions.

Key responsibilities

• Welcoming and assisting patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Managing patient appointments, enquires and telephone calls
• General medical administration and reception duties
• Maintaining accurate patient information and records
• Data entry and administrative support
• Using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Working closely with doctors, nurses and other members of the team
• Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism

About you

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organisational and time-management skills

• A professional, friendly and patient-focused approach

• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge and understanding of ACC processes and claims preferred, however training can be provided for the right applicant.

• Experience with Medtec Evolution preferred, however training can be provided for the right applicant.
