At Dairy Australia, we believe in growing great futures - that includes yours. Here, you'll contribute to something bigger: the livelihood of farmers, the sustainability of communities in dairy regions and the future of one of Australia's most vital industries.

Working alongside people whose knowledge and passion run deep, you’ll love being part of a team where flexibility matters and support comes in abundance. What’s more, we’re as invested in your growth as we are in the industry's future.

Whether you’re new to the industry or bring years of experience to the table, if you’re after work that’s practical, challenging and deeply connected to real outcomes, you’ll find it at Dairy Australia. To learn more, watch the video below.

Your opportunity

We're looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Reception & Facilities Coordinator to help create a welcoming, professional and positive workplace experience for our people, visitors and stakeholders.  This is a 12-month fixed-term, part-time opportunity, working onsite Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 3.00pm.

As the first point of contact for our Southbank office, you'll play an important role in shaping the experience of everyone who walks through our doors. You'll balance reception responsibilities with facilities coordination and provide administrative support to our People & Culture team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in creating great experiences for others and loves being the person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience for employees, visitors, contractors and guests.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operation of office facilities, workplace services and administration.
  • Manage relationships with building management, service providers and suppliers to ensure a safe, efficient and well-maintained workplace.
  • Support workplace health and safety activities, employee engagement initiatives and office events.
  • Coordinate office resources including meeting spaces, equipment, access passes, parking and pool vehicles.
  • Provide administrative support to the People & Culture team, including invoice processing, employee documentation and general P&C administration.

About You

You’re someone who naturally builds rapport, enjoys helping others and brings a positive, customer-focused approach to everything you do. You're highly organised, proactive and comfortable juggling a variety of tasks whilst maintaining strong attention to detail.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in reception, office coordination, facilities, workplace experience or a customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
  • The ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member.

Here, you’ll be surrounded by good people who are genuine, down to earth and as driven as you. Our people care – about the work, each other and doing what’s right for the industry.
