**About the Role:**We're seeking a compassionate and professional Receptionist to provide part-time relief cover within a busy private healthcare practice. This temporary position will commence next week, with ongoing relief work beyond the initial assignment.
 
The role will primarily be based on the North Shore, however flexibility is required as support may also be needed at the Newmarket clinic location. Working hours are generally 8:30am to 5:30pm, with shifts offered on an as-needed basis.
 
You'll be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, supporting the front desk and wider clinic operations to ensure a seamless experience for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and visitors with warmth, empathy, and professionalism
• Managing a busy reception area with calm efficiency
• Assisting patients with appointments, scheduling, and administrative processes
• Coordinating closely with clinical and administrative teams
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and confidentiality
• Adapting to flexible hours

About you:

• Calm, adaptable, and genuinely patient‑focused
• Confident communicator with strong problem‑solving skills
• Previous reception, administration, or customer service experience preferred
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, clinical environment
• Professional appearance and demeanour
• Flexible with hours and able to travel between North Shore and Newmarket locations
