Reception/Administrator

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to lead our reception team. You will be responsible for the day to day management of reception services, including oversight of the appointment system, patient access and team performance, ensuring a professional and efficient service at all times at our progressive GP Practice Queensway Medical Centre in Poulton-Le-Fylde

DutiesOversee the daily running of the reception team

• Manage and maintain the appointments system, ensuring effective access for patients
• Co-ordinate clinicians rotas, appointment availability and clinic templates
• Lead, supervise and support reception staff, including training and development
• Act as the first point of escalation for patient queries and complaints aligned to reception services
• Monitor workflows and implement improvements to enhance efficiency
• Ensure compliance with practice policies, CQC standards and GDPR

The successful applicant will need to be a effective communicator and applications will only be considered from applicants previously working in a GP surgery or in Primary Care and must have had supervisory or management experience

Working Hours Monday to Friday 8-4pm shift changes may be required to cover holiday and sickness

Pay: £13.03-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
