Studios are currently operating in Madrid, Mexico City, and Torreón, with New York as the foundation for continued expansion.

Who You Are

The Front Desk Associate is the first point of contact for every member and guest who walks through BAM's doors. This role owns the check-in experience, studio administration, supports instructors and management, delivers exceptional member experience that reflects the studio’s brand standards, and the daily coordination that keeps the front of house running on schedule. You bring precision to routine tasks and warmth to every client interaction, understanding that a well-run front desk is part of the training system, not separate from it.

Daily Responsibilities

Member Experience

• Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival and and check in every client with a consistent, on-brand welcome
• Manage check‑ins, class reservations, waitlists, schedule changes and account questions through Mindbody
• Answer phone calls, emails, and in‑person inquiries about classes, pricing, and policies promptly and professionally
• Resolve member issues or escalate to management when needed
• Maintain deep knowledge of class formats, instructors, pricing, and studio policies

Sales Support

• Conduct studio tours for walk-in prospects when sales staff are unavailable
• Identify and route trial and drop-in clients toward membership consultations
• Communicate promotions, new classes, and studio events to members
• Assist with membership sales, class packages, and retail transactions
• Support membership retention by building rapport and encouraging repeat visits
• Track sales metrics when applicable (e.g., daily revenue, conversion rates)
• Support the referral program by tracking and communicating referral activity
• Support member events, launches, and studio initiatives as needed

Studio Operations

• Open or close the studio according to established procedures, including cash handling where applicable
• Maintain on-brand cleanliness of lobby, retail area, and common spaces at all times
• Coordinate with coaches on class capacity, substitutions, and day-of changes; and support instructors with class setup (equipment layout, lighting, music checks)
• Monitor studio safety and report maintenance issues

Administrative Duties

• Track daily attendance, walk-ins, and trial conversions in the system of record
• Update member profiles and ensure accurate data entry
• Process payments, refunds, and account adjustments
• Flag delinquent accounts and billing issues to the Studio Manager
• Support daily operational reporting for studio management Relay client feedback, incidents, and recurring issues to studio leadership

Qualifications

• Prior front desk experience required, in fitness, hospitality, or customer service preferred
• Familiar with CRM and scheduling software, Mindbody experience preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Strong, professional communication skills in person, by phone, and in writing
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment Genuine interest in fitness and in the BAM Labs client experience

Compensation

• Up to $30 per hour (based on experience)
