About Us
The Family Violence Legal Service Aboriginal Corporation (FVLSAC) is a community legal service supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims-survivors of family violence and/or sexual violence across South Australia.
We provide legal advice, court representation, client support services, and deliver community legal education initiatives, with staffed offices in Ceduna, Port Augusta, Port Lincoln and Adelaide and an expansion into Mt Gambier and Murray Bridge, FVLSAC is expanding its footprint to reach more communities.
The Reception & Administration Services Officer supports the effective day-to-day operation of the Family Violence Legal Service Aboriginal Corporation (FVLSAC) by providing culturally safe and responsive reception, administrative and client service coordination.
The position is often the first point of contact for clients, community members, stakeholders and visitors and plays an important role in ensuring people are welcomed, treated respectfully and connected promptly with the appropriate FVLSAC employee or service.
In addition to reception responsibilities, the role provides administrative and operational support to the legal team and broader organisation, including appointment coordination, office administration, records and data entry, travel and meeting arrangements, facilities and asset administration, and other activities that support efficient and high-quality service delivery.
The position provides administrative support to client service delivery but is not responsible for client case management, wellbeing assessment, advocacy, legal advice, referral assessment, court support or the delivery of wraparound services.
In this role, you will be required to work independently for periods of time, therefore applicants must have excellent communication and administrative skills and the ability to work in a self-directed manner.
Aboriginal people are strongly encouraged to apply for this position.
