Receptionist / Assistant Practice Manager

We are seeking a capable and welcoming Receptionist / 2IC to join our client’s General Practice Reception & Admin Team.

This is an opportunity for a patient-focused Receptionist to help keep a busy front desk running smoothly and provide a positive first point of contact in a General Practice environment. You’ll support the day-to-day operation of the front desk and help deliver a professional, friendly experience for patients. As the 2IC, you’ll also provide support to the reception team and assist with maintaining an organised and efficient service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors, providing courteous and professional service.
• Support the smooth daily operation of the medical reception area.
• Assist the reception team and help maintain an organised front desk.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and colleagues.
• Work closely with the PM on continuous improvement activities.

About you

You’ll bring a warm, professional manner and enjoy helping people. Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills will help you succeed in this role, along with the confidence to support the reception function as 2IC.

• Must have 3 yrs of experience in a busy General Practice on Reception
• Demonstrated leadership qualities
• Passionate about customer service
• Flexible and happy to work across several practices in close proximity, when necessary
