If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! HUB Veterinary Group is a new, privately owned General Practice and Urgent Care animal hospital, and we are seeking dedicated receptionists to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome clients, both in person and over the phone, with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing clients' inquiries, scheduling appointments, and offering support.
• Efficiently manage the front desk, including appointment scheduling, handling payments, and maintaining accurate records.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for clients and their pets.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with administrative tasks, such as preparing patient records and organizing paperwork.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of (or a willingness to learn) veterinary services, including preventive care, vaccinations, and basic medical terminology.
• Effectively communicate with clients, conveying information about services, pricing, and treatment options.
• Handle client complaints or concerns professionally and promptly, utilizing conflict resolution skills to ensure client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide comprehensive care for animals and contribute to the overall success of the clinic.
• Stay updated on current pet health-related topics and communicate important information to clients when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role is required.
• Previous experience in a veterinary setting is required.
• Saturday availability is required
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Strong conflict resolution abilities to handle challenging situations and maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Genuine love and compassion for animals, with an understanding of their basic needs and behaviors.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills
• Prior knowledge of veterinary management software is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to possibly work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays, as required.
