This position offers a salary of $20/hour and is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and supporting a professional office environment.
Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

- Greet and assist visitors upon arrival, ensuring guests are directed appropriately and receive a friendly and professional experience.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, providing general assistance when appropriate and ensuring calls are routed to the correct individuals.
- Receive, organize, and distribute incoming packages and deliveries while helping ensure items are properly handled and communicated to the appropriate recipients.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of conference rooms and shared office spaces, ensuring rooms remain neat and ready for meetings.

- Communicate office and building maintenance needs to management, including issues such as leaks or other concerns requiring attention, while assisting with general office upkeep as needed.
Qualifications of the Receptionist:
- Friendly, polished, and professional demeanor with the ability to create a welcoming experience for visitors, employees, and other guests.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to answer phones, greet visitors, and interact professionally with individuals at all levels of an organization.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep track of packages, office supplies, conference rooms, and other day-to-day responsibilities.
- Dependable and proactive approach to work, with the ability to recognize routine office needs and take appropriate action without requiring constant direction.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day while remaining attentive to the needs of the front desk and overall office environment.
- Previous reception, front desk, administrative, hospitality, customer service, or office support experience is preferred.
- Ability to work fully in-office in Chicago’s Loop for the duration of the temporary 2-3 month assignment and maintain a professional presence in a busy office environment.
