Receptionist & Customer Care Officer

Contract: 6-Month Temporary Assignment
Pay Rate: $40.00 per hour

About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and professional Receptionist / Customer Care Officer to join a busy and supportive team on a 6-month contract.

This is an important front-line role where you will provide exceptional customer service and support to visitors, families, and community members. We are looking for someone with outstanding people skills, patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist visitors in a professional manner
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
• Provide information regarding services and processes
• Manage reception duties, appointments, and administrative tasks
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Support customers and visitors with empathy and understanding
• Handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in reception, customer service, or administration
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, empathetic, and compassionate approach
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to remain calm and professional in sensitive situations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
• A positive, proactive, and supportive attitude
