What they need
Medical Receptionist-Casual
We are looking for an experienced medical receptionist to join our friendly and busy team. This position is for approximately 15 hours a week- over 3 shifts including Saturday mornings as well as covering shifts when needed. Applicants may be asked to provide a police check.
Duties include:
-Welcoming patients
-Making appointments
-Incoming & Outgoing phone calls
-Scanning documents
-receiving & sending emails/faxes
-Receiving & chasing payments via cash, Eftpos, Hot Docs (we are a private billing practice)
-Medicare & DVA batching and claiming
-General cleaning of practice
-Additional office duties
-Opening & closing of the practice
Our ideal candidate will possess:
-Experience working in General Practice
-Exceptional customer service skills
-Excellent communication skills including a professional & personable telephone manner
-Detail-orientated
-Ability to multi-task and priortise
-Knowledge of Best Practice and Hot Docs
-Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
-Thrive in a busy and fast paced environment
