Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join the team at PETIKA INVESTMENTS PTY LTD in St Helens, Tasmania. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst delivering exceptional guest services. As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and visitors, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and warmth. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for outstanding hospitality and customer care.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting guests and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanour upon arrival
• Managing check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
• Handling guest enquiries and requests with responsiveness and problem-solving skills
• Operating the reception desk and managing incoming telephone calls professionally
• Processing bookings and reservations using computer systems
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation for guests
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and seamless service delivery
• Assisting with administrative tasks as required
• Providing information about facilities, services and local attractions
• Handling payments and maintaining cash management procedures

• Proficiency in using computer systems

• Reliability and punctuality
• Previous reception or customer service experience is highly desirable
• Knowledge of the RMS booking system is advantageous
