What they need

N8 Health Group is a growing, patient focused allied health clinic committed to providing high quality, holistic care to the Echuca community and surrounding areas.  As part of a broader network of clinics, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, professional environment for our patients and our team, and have a strong focus on collaboration, continuous improvement and development.

We are seeking a friendly, organised and motivated Casual Receptionist to join our team to cover the upcoming holiday season (and potentially beyond).

About the role

This position is casual with shifts rostered Monday to Friday and occasionally Saturday mornings as required.  Flexibility is essential, as you may also be required to work across our other clinic locations in Kyabram and Deniliquin.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide a welcoming environment by greeting, checking in and registering patients
  • Answer phone calls and responding to enquiries, referring them where appropriate
  • Managing the waiting area and supporting smooth patient flow
  • Processing patient payments (cash, EFTPOS, HiCAPS) and completing daily banking, invoicing and receipting
  • Appointment scheduling and confirmations including reminder calls
  • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and monitor stock levels
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper health records, ensuring confidentiality at all times
  • Preparing letters, documents and reports as required
  • Distribute resources and information as directed by practitioners
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and procedure
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and support general clinic operations

About you

You will be proactive, adaptable and eager to learn and upskill and have a passion for health and wellbeing.  You will enjoy meeting people and be passionate about providing the highest level of care to everyone you interact with.

You will ideally have

  • Previous experience in reception, administration or a customer facing role (medical or allied health experience is desirable but not essential)
  • Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft office suite with some working knowledge of practice management software (highly desirable, but not essential)
  • A professional, friendly and customer focused approach
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (required for travel to other clinics)
  • This role requires candidates to have valid work rights in Australia
