Receptionist

We are looking for two Receptionists to help a busy Louisville studio stay welcoming and organized. One person will cover a full-time schedule and the second can work consistent part-time hours. You will greet visitors, handle everyday calls and keep the shared office details in good order while project teams focus on client work.

The first impression matters

The reception desk is often the first human contact a client, supplier or candidate has with the studio. A clear greeting, an accurate message and a calm response make a real difference. The studio will teach the relevant creative vocabulary; your starting point is being present, helpful and comfortable asking a colleague when you are unsure.

Your shift at a glance

• Welcome scheduled visitors and let the right person know they have arrived.
• Answer the main phone line and record complete messages.
• Monitor general email and route requests to the correct team.
• Prepare meeting rooms and keep shared areas ready for the day.
• Receive deliveries, sort mail and arrange outgoing packages.
• Help with calendar updates, supply checks and light document formatting.

You will settle in quickly if

• You communicate warmly without losing professionalism.
• You arrive on time and can follow a reliable routine.
• You are comfortable with email, calendars and basic office software.
• You notice small details and keep personal information private.

Previous reception or office experience is useful, but applicants with strong hospitality, retail or school-office experience are also encouraged. Paid training covers the phone, visitor and office procedures.
