The receptionist is the face of the center and will warmly welcome guests who visit the center and answer cheerfully manage phone calls.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the center in a cheerful and professional manner.
• Request all visitors check in per facility policy.
• Direct visitors to the appropriate location.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls appropriately.
• Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
• Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
• Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
• Maintain visitor security by following safety procedures.
• Schedule Beauty and Barber appointments.
• Receive and receipt resident trust and operating funds.
• Disperse Resident Petty Cash.
• Support and serve as back-up to other Business Office Staff.
• Assist Business Office Manager, and other center employees with general office duties, as assigned.
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, scanning, copying, and faxing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Education or equivalent, preferred.
• Previous experience working in an office setting preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.
• Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity.
• Ability to be flexible, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work as part of a team
