Receptionist

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and greet patients and attendants politely.
• Register OP/IP patients and maintain accurate patient details.
• Schedule and manage doctor appointments.
• Answer telephone calls and provide correct information regarding doctors, departments, and consultation timings.
• Guide patients to the appropriate department, doctor, laboratory, pharmacy, billing, and other services.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments.
• Maintain OP registration, appointment, visitor, and other required registers.
• Assist patients with admission and discharge-related front-office procedures.
• Coordinate with the billing department regarding patient bills and payments when required.
• Provide information about hospital services, visiting hours, procedures, and facilities.
• Handle patient and attendant enquiries politely and escalate complaints to the concerned authority.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and hospital records.
• Check and maintain required patient documents and identification details.
• Assist in preparing daily front-office reports.
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and professional.
• Follow hospital policies, patient-safety procedures, infection-control practices, and NABH requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Hospital Administrator or authorized supervisor.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 per month
