Salary: £12.80 - £13.50 per hour

Hours: (40 hours) Monday - Friday 08:15am - 17:15pm

Contract: Permanent.

We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our welcoming dental practice.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play an essential role in creating a positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Working closely with our clinicians, nursing team, and Practice Manager, you'll help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice while providing outstanding support to our patients.

The Role As a Receptionist, You Will

• Welcome patients in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Manage appointments and maintain clinicians' diaries efficiently.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to email enquiries.
• Assist patients with bookings, queries, and general information.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with GDPR and company policies.
• Process payments and manage daily financial transactions.
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area.
• Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative teams to deliver an excellent patient experience.
• Carry out general administrative duties as required.

About You We're looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable, and passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Organised with excellent attention to detail.
• A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using computer systems and learning new software.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Reliable, professional, and a great team player.

Previous experience in a reception, administration, customer service, retail, hospitality, or healthcare role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Experience within a dental or healthcare setting is an advantage but not required.
