Receptionist

Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, manage administrative tasks efficiently, and support office operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with various office software. The Receptionist will ensure a welcoming environment while maintaining smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner at the front desk
• Manage multi-line phone systems and direct inquiries appropriately
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars
• Handle correspondence, emails, and incoming mail efficiently
• Support administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, managing office supplies, and organizing files
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
• Assist with bookkeeping tasks and basic office management duties as needed
• Maintain a tidy reception area to ensure a welcoming environment for visitors

Experience

• Prior office experience or administrative support experience preferred
• Some experience in a pet grooming, veterinary, or pet care environment is a plus
• Familiarity with front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and data entry tasks
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management capabilities
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour
