Receptionist

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and warmly welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Manage guest seating and ensure efficient table assignments based on restaurant capacity and guest preferences.
• Handle reservations, walk-in guests, waitlists, and inquiries through phone, messaging, or in-person communication.
• Provide accurate information about the restaurant, menu items, promotions, operating hours, and dining policies.
• Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth guest flow and efficient service.
• Monitor table availability and communicate estimated waiting times to guests.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus when appropriate.
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area.
• Assist with guest requests, concerns, and complaints and promptly refer complex issues to the supervisor or manager.
• Support the service team during busy periods, including assisting with table turnover and basic dining-room duties when needed.
• Ensure proper handling of reservations, guest information, and special requests.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and presentable appearance in accordance with restaurant standards.
• Follow company policies, food-service standards, and health and safety procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a receptionist, host/hostess, cashier, or customer-service staff is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused personality.
• Able to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced casual dining environment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Interest in Japanese cuisine and dining culture is a plus.

Pay: Php19,000.00 - Php21,000.00 per month
