Receptionist

About the role

WorkCover CTP Doctors is a dedicated multidisciplinary medical centre specialising in the management of Workers' Compensation and Compulsory Third Party (CTP) patients. We are seeking a friendly, professional and organised Medical Receptionist to join our growing team in Burwood. Our reception team plays an important role in supporting our doctors, allied health professionals and patients, while coordinating with insurers and other stakeholders involved in Workers' Compensation and CTP claims.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist Workers' Compensation and CTP patients with professionalism and care
• Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records
• Manage phone calls, emails and patient enquiries
• Process Workers' Compensation and CTP claims and liaise with insurance providers
• Follow up outstanding invoices, payments and claims to ensure timely processing
• Complete administrative paperwork and maintain accurate records
• Learn and effectively use new technologies and practice systems
• Maintain patient confidentiality and support smooth day-to-day front-desk operations

About you

• Able to work 3–5 days per week on a part-time or casual basis
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency
• Completion of Year 12 or equivalent
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
• A proactive and organised approach to managing administrative tasks and outstanding accounts
• A compassionate, professional and patient-centred approach
• Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills are highly regarded
