Receptionist

Ryevale Nursing Home is seeking a warm, professional, and organised Receptionist to join our dedicated care team. This is a key front-of-house role, providing a welcoming first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting residents, families, and visitors in a friendly and respectful manner
• Managing incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
• Maintaining visitor sign-in procedures in line with nursing home policies
• Carrying out general administrative and clerical duties
• Handling confidential information in compliance with GDPR
• Receiving deliveries
• Working with household and catering manager to order and maintain stock levels of food and nursing care consumables.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, professional, and discreet manner
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
• Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Experience working in a nursing home or healthcare environment
• Knowledge of HIQA standards and procedures
