RECEPTIONIST

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Greets and welcomes guests to the restaurant.
• Attends to inquiries and assist them before being led to their table.
• Ensures that customers are being attended once arrived the entrance area of the restaurant

Essential Responsibilities:

• Upon entry of customer, greets in a professional, courteous and pleasant manner
• Inquires guest name and number of guests and any other preference
• Informs guests to be seated while table is being readied
• When available, guides the guest to their respective assigned table
• Receives calls and inquiries
• Answers any query by guests
• Keeps records of guests : name, number of guests and other important details
• Handles reservations of guests. Documents the same for coordination with other department.
• Coordinates with other staff to ensure concerns or complaints are addressed
• Performs other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.

Education:

At least college undergraduate of two years (four semesters) preferably related to Food and Beverage.

Experience:

At least four (4) years’ experience in a restaurant in a 3 star hotel or fine dining restaurant or similar establishment
