Receptionist

Medical Receptionist (1 opening) Lawall Prosthetic & Orthotic Services is seeking a friendly, organized and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients, providing excellent customer service, and supporting a busy medical office environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner
• Check patients in and out (copay collections support)
• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
• Schedule appointments and assist with patient inquiries
• Maintain accurate patient information and documentation
• Assist with insurance and patient-related administrative tasks
• Coordinate with clinicians, physician offices, insurance companies, and internal staff
• Perform data entry and general office duties
• Support the team in providing timely and exceptional patient service
• General clerical duties include but not limited to; scanning charts into the EMR system, follow up calls to patients, use of email, phone, computers
• Limited travel to nearest locations for support

Qualifications:

• Previous receptionist, medical office experience preferred
• High level of organization, reliability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced office setting.
• Professional and friendly demeanor
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Healthcare or insurance experience is a plus
