Receptionist

Drew Carter State Farm in Vestavia, AL is looking for a friendly, driven person to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist & Insurance Sales Coordinator. This is a customer-facing sales role — you'll be the first point of contact for callers and visitors, help qualify inquiries, and convert leads into appointments so our team can provide quotes and coverage options. If you enjoy talking with people, staying organized, and helping customers find the right insurance, we'd love to meet you! What You'll Do • Be the first point of contact for customers (in-person, phone, and email) — warm, professional, and efficient • Answer phones, greet visitors, and schedule appointments • Identify customer needs, ask qualifying questions, and route opportunities to the sales team • Follow up on leads, quotes, and pending sales tasks • Support marketing campaigns (emails, texts, calls) to generate appointments • Maintain organized records and update customer information in our systems • Help manage office flow and support the sales team's day-to-day needs What We're Looking For • Friendly, upbeat personality with strong communication skills • Sales-minded and motivated by results — comfortable engaging customers and asking for the appointment • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask • Professional appearance and demeanor • Previous customer service or sales experience is a plus (insurance experience not required — we'll train the right person) • This role requires an Alabama insurance license. New hires have 20 days from accepting the offer to pass the required exams (licensing costs are the candidate's responsibility). We'll guide you on exactly what's needed.
