What You’ll Handle

As the Receptionist at Floyd’s 99 Barbershop in Erie, you’re the first point of contact who keeps the front desk running smoothly and helps the shop deliver a great guest experience. This role exists to keep schedules organized, guests welcomed, and the team supported so services stay on time.

Key responsibilities include:

• Greet guests, answer phones, and manage check-in/check-out
• Coordinate appointments and assist with walk-in flow
• Process payments, handle basic cash/pos tasks, and resolve simple guest questions
• Communicate clearly with barbers/stylists to keep the day moving

A Typical Shift

You’ll arrive, get the front area ready, and help set the tone with a warm welcome as guests come through the door. Between appointments, you’ll keep the space looking sharp—staying on top of laundry, rotating fresh towels, and doing quick cleanups so the shop stays comfortable and presentable. As the pace picks up, you’ll stay calm, adjust to changes, and keep things moving through evenings and weekends when the shop is busiest.
