**Schedule:**Monday 7:30am - 7:00pm; Tuesday 7:30am - 5:00pm; Wednesday 7:30am - 5:00pm; Thursday 7:30 am - 5:00pm; Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm

Employment Status: Full Time

Compensation: $16/hour starting pay

WHY THIS ROLE

Be one of the first people our patients meet. The Front Office Assistant helps create a welcoming, organized experience while supporting patient flow, scheduling, registration, communication, and the daily administrative needs of a PHN medical office.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Greet patients and provide professional, patient-centered customer service in person and by phone.

Register patients, verify demographic and insurance information, and collect payments as appropriate.

Schedule appointments, complete patient reminders, and support the fail-to-show process.

Document phone messages and other information accurately in the electronic medical record.

Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, transportation arrangements, and routine billing questions.

Complete daily cash, deposit, scanning, indexing, mail, and end-of-day processes as assigned.

Maintain front-office coverage, supplies, and accurate records to support smooth office operations.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

High school diploma or equivalent, or willingness to obtain within one year.

Minimum of one year of professional office experience.

Strong customer-service, written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Computer and technology proficiency.

Ability to work effecively as part of a team and adapt to changing healthcare priorities.

Availability for non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, when required.

Willingness and ability to travel as directed.

COMPENSATION

Starting pay/range: $16 per hour. PHN recognizes experience, education, credentials, and site location when determining wage, as applicable.
