Receptionist

About the role:
 
We are seeking an engaging, professional, and outgoing Receptionist to become an integral part of our Christchurch Studio. As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff, you will play a key role in creating a warm and positive experience while ensuring the front-of-house function runs smoothly and efficiently.
 
This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, offering the opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team environment.
 
You will be responsible for:

• Being the principal point of contact for clients, contractors, consultants, trade representatives and members of the general public.
• Working closely with the Studio Manager to provide administration support.
• Managing hospitality arrangements for the studio, including catering orders.
• Ensuring meeting rooms are tidy.
• Ensuring a seamless and quality customer experience for guests and internal staff as an integral part of the Front of House team.

What experience/skills you will have:

• Front of house / hospitality experience preferred
• 2+ years administration experience
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
• High level of communication skills (verbal and written)
• Initiative and ability to work proactively
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Be friendly, confident, inclusive and adapt well to different personalities
• An interest in architecture and sustainability would be advantageous
