Receptionist

Located in the heart of Woolton Village, Botanico is a stylish, modern Italian all-day dining venue. Known for our vibrant botanical interiors, fresh artisanal bakery, popular bottomless brunches, delicate afternoon teas, and evening bistro menu, we pride ourselves on delivering warm Italian hospitality in a polished, fast-paced environment.

​We are looking for an outgoing, organized, and reliable Receptionist / Host to be the welcoming face of Botanico.

​Key Responsibilities

​First Impressions: Warmly greet arriving guests, manage coat check/luggage, and direct patrons to their tables, the Tea Room Terrace, or the Bakery section.

​Reservation Management: Oversee our online booking platform (ResDiary) to optimize table turnover and seat walk-in guests efficiently.

​Communication Hub: Answer telephone queries, manage restaurant emails, and coordinate special booking requests (e.g., Afternoon Tea pre-orders, Bottomless Brunch groups, private hire).

​Flow & Coordination: Work closely with the floor managers, waitstaff, and kitchen team to ensure a smooth transition between breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and evening bistro services.

​Guest Relations: Handle guest inquiries, maintain waitlists during peak weekend hours, and handle initial guest feedback with professionalism and charm.

​Requirements & Qualifications

​Experience: Minimum experience in a customer-facing receptionist or host role within a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or premium hospitality setting.

​Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with digital restaurant booking and table management systems.

​Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English with a confident, polite telephone manner.

​Multitasking Ability: Capable of staying calm, poised, and organised during busy brunch rushes and weekend services.

​Presentation: High standard of personal grooming aligned with a chic, modern venue.

Pay: £10.85-£13.00 per hour
