Are you a motivated, professional and reliable individual looking to kick-start your career in the legal industry? MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our clients for a Trainee Receptionist based across Lilydale and Berwick, VIC.

About the role:

This traineeship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional law office while completing a Certificate III in Legal Services.

Working as part of the reception team, you will develop valuable skills in:

• Providing professional customer service to clients and visitors.
• Answering and transferring phone calls and assisting with enquiries.
• Greeting clients and preparing meeting rooms.
• Maintaining a clean and organised reception area and managing office supplies.
• Supporting general administration and the wider legal team.

As you progress, you may have the opportunity to assist with additional legal administration tasks, including supporting different teams and assisting with the signing of wills, depending on your skills and development.

• Professional, mature and confident communication skills.
• A friendly and approachable manner with a strong customer service focus.
• Reliable, punctual and well-presented with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Comfortable interacting with clients and working in a professional office environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• A vehicle is highly desirable due to travel between locations

Our client is a professional and established legal organisation providing services to clients across a range of areas of law. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain your first experience in a legal office, develop your professional skills and build a strong foundation for a career in the legal industry.

The successful candidate will initially be based at Lilydale, with the opportunity to work across both the Lilydale and Berwick offices as the traineeship progresses. You will receive day-to-day mentoring and support from the reception team while working in a professional and welcoming environment.

Previous trainees have successfully progressed into ongoing employment with the organisation, providing a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to build a long-term career within the business.
