Receptionist/Administrator

We’re looking for a fantastic Receptionist to join our growing team at The Spine & Disc Centre in Glastonbury.

This is much more than a traditional receptionist role. You’ll be at the heart of the clinic, helping us create a warm, professional and supportive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

About the role

As a Clinic Assistant, you’ll work closely with our chiropractors, massage therapists and wider team to help the clinic run smoothly day to day.

Your role will include:

• Welcoming patients and creating a great first impression
• Managing appointments, diaries and patient bookings
• Answering telephone calls, emails and patient enquiries
• Taking payments and completing general reception administration
• Helping patients understand their appointments and care schedules
• Keeping reception and clinic areas organised and presentable
• Supporting the clinical team during busy shifts
• Following up with patients and helping maintain excellent levels of service
• Supporting clinic promotions, events and marketing activities
• Being proactive and spotting what needs doing rather than waiting to be asked.

Working Hours

This role will require flexibility, as clinic hours vary.

Shifts will include a mixture of:

• Morning shifts
• Afternoon and evening shifts
• Occasional weekend work, particularly when supporting clinic events, community events or promotional activities

We’re therefore looking for someone who is happy to work varied hours and can be flexible around the needs of the clinic.

Who we're looking for

You don’t need previous chiropractic or spinal care experience — full training will be provided.

Previous experience in reception, healthcare, hospitality, sales or customer service would be an advantage.

About The Spine & Disc Centre

The Spine & Disc Centre is a specialist clinic in Glastonbury offering Chiropractic Care, Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression Therapy and Massage Therapy.

We work with people experiencing a wide range of spinal and musculoskeletal problems, including back pain, neck pain, sciatica, disc problems and nerve-related symptoms.

Our aim is to provide an exceptional patient experience while helping as many people as possible improve their health, movement and quality of life.
