Receptionist/General Assistant

We are looking for someone enthusiastic, reliable and friendly to join the front of house team in our family run hotel. You must be well presented and well organised and understand that a role in hospitality means working unsociable hours: weekends, evenings and Christmas. The shifts pattern for this job are 7.30am - 3.30pm and 3-11pm 5 days a week. We are a small team so working on reception also means you will have to wait on in the restaurant and serve drinks at the bar. This is a multi-tasking role NOT a purely admin job.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Experience in the hospitality industry or in a position of responsibility is required. You will often be required to work on your own and as part of a team and you must be able to multitask. You will be duty manager for your shift so you need to be responsible and trustworthy.

The most important thing is that you must genuinely want to work with people and care about going above and beyond to give excellent customer service. Everything else can be learnt on the job!
