Receptionist/OptometricTech

• Professional and friendly with staff and patients
• Exhibit maturity, reliability, and composure
• Excellent written, oral communication, and telephone skills
• Must possess strong time management, organization, and multitasking skills
• Proficient with computer applications
• Experience with explaining vision plan benefits, and appropriately filing to vision insurance plans if needed
• Must be willing to work Saturday
• Previous work experience in an optometry practice is a plus but not necessary
• Bilingual - (Spanish) is a plus

Job Duties - Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Patient care/Prescreening
• Overseeing patient flow
• Verifying vision and medical insurance
• Processing payments
• Must be able to work efficiently with or without supervision
• Communicating with doctors, staff and patients
• Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
• Answering telephone and attending to patient needs
• Be proficient with troubleshooting and handling patient concerns effectively
• Maintaining a clean and organized front office

Pay depends on experience.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
