Réceptionniste

Role Description This full-time Réceptionniste role at Clinique du Val is an on-site position based in Algiers. The receptionist is responsible for welcoming patients and visitors, answering and directing phone calls, and managing appointment scheduling. Daily tasks include checking in patients, verifying basic information, handling inquiries about clinic services, and coordinating with medical and administrative staff. The role also involves processing simple administrative documents, managing the reception area, and ensuring that patients receive clear information and a respectful, professional experience. The receptionist is expected to maintain confidentiality, follow clinic procedures, and contribute to an organized and calm front-desk environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems, including routing calls and taking accurate messages.
• Experience with receptionist duties such as greeting patients, managing appointments, and coordinating front-desk activities.
• Clerical skills including basic data entry, document handling, and use of office software and equipment.
• Ability to remain organized, detail-oriented, and calm in a busy clinical environment.
• High level of reliability, integrity, and respect for patient confidentiality.
• Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is an advantage.
• Fluency in spoken and written languages relevant to the Algiers region; additional language skills are a plus.
