RECONCILIATION ASSOCIATE

Qualifications & Skills required and/or preferred:

▪ Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or any business-related course

▪ Preferably with at least 2 years experience in finance operations, reconciliation, accounting, shared

services handling payment operations

▪ Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to details

▪ Proficiency in MS Office applications. Intermediate to Advanced expertise in MS Excel is a plus.

▪ With good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

▪ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic setting while maintaining accuracy and

delivering against deadlines.

▪ Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset

▪ Flexible to learn new things.

Duties & Responsibilities:

✓ Perform timely reconciliation of financial transactions across payment platforms, banking channels,

partner reports, and various internal systems.

✓ Verify the completeness and accuracy of transaction records and identify any variances or

exceptions.

✓ Investigate reconciliation discrepancies and coordinate with relevant internal and external

stakeholders for resolution.

✓ Ensure all assigned reconciliations are completed within established service level agreements (SLAs).

✓ Review financial transactions, requests, adjustments, and supporting documentation for accuracy,

completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

✓ Validate transaction eligibility and ensure appropriate approvals and supporting evidence are in

place prior to processing.

✓ Monitor outstanding reconciling items and ensure timely follow-up until resolution.

✓ Support month-end and year-end closing activities by ensuring reconciliation schedules are complete

and accurate.

✓ Support other reconciliation functions within the team as part of job rotation and business continuity

requirements.

✓ Perform other finance-related duties that may be assigned by management
