We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee complex insurance claims that have resulted from fire or flood damage. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management methodologies and demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle
• Utilize project management software to track progress, manage resources, and communicate updates to clients.
• Maintain accurate information for each project by providing timely updates and utilizing company tools to stay organized.
• Implement change management processes to address project adjustments and client feedback effectively.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate product management and ensure successful project execution.
• Resolve conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle through effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Adhere to established project management methodologies to maintain consistency and quality across all projects.
• Ability to network with others and help establish a solid sub-contractor base.

Skills

• Proficiency in budgeting and financial management for projects.
• Basic understanding of Xactimate Software.
• Understanding of how insurance claims work and the ability to communicate with insurance adjusters if needed.
• Strong knowledge of various project management software tools.
• Ability to manage sub-contractors and coordinate multiple projects at once.
• Solid understanding of standard construction practices.
• Excellent conflict management skills, capable of navigating challenges effectively.
