Record Label Manager

FINE Group is a global entertainment group, and we're launching a new music label. We're looking for someone to run it, day to day, and build it into something that scales.

The role is broad and it grows as the label does. Here's a flavour of where a lot of the focus sits, though it's far from the whole list.

Operations

This is the heart of it, and it's why we need someone exceptionally organised.

• Put the systems and structure in place to run the label: the tease campaigns, the releases, and the way we work with the ads team and the creative team.
• Streamline all of it into a well-oiled machine that's ready to scale and grow rapidly.
• Keep everything moving to deadline. Metadata, splits, contracts, delivery, all tight, nothing slips.

Outreach and A&R

• Build the catalogue. Reach out to and build relationships with producers, artists, management companies and other labels.
• Source tracks, manage the catalogue, and handle the A&R.

Social

• Work closely with our social and creative team on the label's channels.
• Help turn the accounts into a real audience.

And plenty beyond this as the label builds. You'll help shape a lot of it yourself.

Two non-negotiables

• Incredibly organised. You run the operation without ever dropping a ball. Everything tracked, nothing slips, no reminders needed. This is the job.
• Incredibly proactive. You don't wait to be told. You spot what needs doing and it's already done. You bring ideas, you chase, you push.

You also are

• Someone who knows the music industry, or doesn't yet but is proactive enough to go and learn it fast. Knowledge helps, attitude matters more.
• Fast and fluent with AI tools and modern software. We move quickly and use everything.
• Up for a demanding, high-standards environment. We want someone who wants to win.

Nice to have

• Time at a label, distributor or management company, or experience as an artist or creator.
• A following or content track record of your own.
• A grasp of distribution, splits, publishing and playlist pitching.
