About the role
Want real clinical exposure while you’re in school? Join our specialty dental team as a Records Tech and help us deliver 1:1 consults that change patients’ lives. We’ll fully train you; no dental experience needed. You’ll learn how to guide patients through consults, capture diagnostic records, and collaborate with doctors and assistants in a modern, fast-paced practice.

What you’ll do

• Welcome patients and lead them through consult workflows (history, chief concern, treatment recommendation, expectations)
• Capture diagnostic records: CBCT scans, periapical radiographs, intraoral photos (training provided)
• Prepare and update digital charts; document health histories and consent forms with accuracy (HIPAA)
• Coordinate with the doctor to present findings and ensure next steps are clear for patients
• Manage consult schedules, room turnover, communication with the rest of the team, and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
• Support special projects (quality checks, patient education materials, data entry)

• Are detail-oriented and comfortable with technology (PC, imaging software, Patient management software)

• Can commit 6–20 hours/week during the quarter (with flexibility around midterms/finals)

Training & support

• Structured onboarding + competency checklists
• Shadowing, step-by-step skills training, and ongoing feedback
• Clear path to additional responsibilities (sterilization, treatment coordination, advanced imaging)

Schedule & location

• Part-time, weekdays with limited optional Saturdays
• Seattle clinic (easy transit from UW; free street parking nearby)

Compensation & perks

• $21–$25/hour DOE + performance bonuses with tenure
